Breaks Co-Op are trio hailing from New Zealand, that like to take a laid back approach. ‘Settle Down’ is a pleasant funky slumper, perfect for those sunny afternoons in the hammock, nestled between The Beta Band, Buffalo Springfield & Lemon Jelly. Over on the flip youâll find the swinging ‘Question Of Freedom’, with it’s smouldering soundtrack vibe, heavy on the bass & snare, with all manner of atmospheric instrumentation coming to the fore. If you can imagine DJ Shadow remixing Calexico, then you’re going down the right path. Break Co-Opâs new album ‘The Sound Inside’ is due in March, and it’s probably gonna be a Big Chill & Bestival favourite.
