Toronto’s Broken Social Scene took the UK by storm at the tail end of last year with a set of blistering live shows. So into 2006 and the Canadian outfit deliver the blistering “7/4 Shoreline”, with intricate guitars running alongside fuzzy charged up ones, while delicate harmonies back guest vocalist Leslie Feist, building into a euphoric wall of sound that bubbles over with excess energy. “7/4 Shorline” comes backed with the swaggering groover that is “Stars And Spit”, making this a great double header. Catch ‘em at All Tomorrow’s Parties, you won’t be disappointed.
