After the 2005 release of Cagedbaby’s critcally acclaimed debut album ‘Will See You Now’, & loads of worldwide touring with his band, he looks set to break into the mainstream in 2006. Hello There’ is a fluffy bundle of chilled 80’s pop with a Pet Shop Boys feel, that’s got radio & TV written all over it. The Presets are up first on the remix front, adding some Bronski Beat touches, while Radio Slave gives it the 4/4 treatment & shoots it through with a dose of fizzing electronics, & MJ Cole gives it plenty of swing. A very tidy package indeed.
