Doves make a long awaited & eagerly anticipated return, with the bombastic & totally infectious “Black & White Town”, lifted from their forthcoming brilliant third album “Some Cities” (watch this space). “Black & White Town” comes bounding in like an updated version of the Martha Reeves & The Vandellas Motown classic “Heatwave”, then bursts into one of the best feel good songs I’ve heard in ages, in true majestic Doves style. “Black & White Town” is guaranteed to make you drive like a nutter, not giving a fuck while you sing your head off & get covered in goose bumps.
