Possibly beaten to the finish line in terms of Talk Talk cover versions this year, but even so, Richard Grey knows how to make sure Ibiza will be paying attention when this lands. Pumped up beats, electro flourishes and a strong male vocal, with enough of a punishing bass to make sure no-ones going to be standing still for long. Plenty of filtered drops and a bit of piano and – before you can press play – Ibiza anthem. Lovely anthemic breakdown towards the end, too (although the false ending might catch out a few unwary types). There’s also a nice dreamy remix from Gold Ryan, really pushing it into the hemishpere with layers of synths and a laidback minimal style beat. Decent dub too for those with vocal allergies. Typically excellent and value-packed release from Ego, one you won’t want to leave home without.
