Not two, but three sides to the latest epic from The Go! Team. Firstly, “Doing It Right” is a like a J-pop speed-reading of the Motown back catalogue, in just under three minutes. Fast, furious and pretty good fun. “Milk Crisis” sees Kaori leading the way with a frenetic rap over electro handclaps before descending into a wailing chorus of electric guitars. Lastly, and perhaps most surprisingly, there’s a rather timely acoustic offering of “Willow’s Song” from the Wicker Man. Purists will probably hate it, but what do they know? It’s a suitably eccentric version, showing their ability to adapt the Go! Team sound to just about anything.
