Brighton’s best loved export returns with a greatest hits package and a couple of new tracks. As soon as ‘That Old Pair Of Jeans’ hit’s the deck you just know it’s the unmistakable sound of Fatboy Slim, it’s all here, from the pop sensibilities, to the feel good groove and on to the sing -a-long chorus with gospel backing. It’s official, he’s doing what he does best, Norman is stormin‚ again. ‘That Old Pair Of Jeans’ comes backed with a host of remixes. Redanka and Freemasons both tackle ‘Right Here Right Now’, and Plump Dj’s have a go at ‘Everybody Needs A 303’. But it’s Mike D & Adrock of Beastie Boys fame that really steal the show, getting tripped out on ‘Praise You’, and working funky psychedelics into warm fluid rhythms, with cool swinging results.
