Foals are being tipped for big things in 2008, their debut album ‘Antidotes’ is due at the end of March, but first comes a spell of manic deranged dancing in the shape of a hot 45. ‘Cassius’ oozes indie disco energy, as soon as the needle hits the record it’s spikey punk funk on speed all the way, complete with catchy lyrics and a cute guitar riff that wouldn’t sound out of place on Camberwick Green. Foals fill the void that’s somewhere between the Klaxons and Bloc Party.
