Hailing from Belgium, Goose have got a lot more in common with their fellow countrymen Soulwax, than just their nationality. ‘British Mode’ rides on a fat slice of punk funk with a 4/4 beat, and the song has got a set of vocals that sound amazingly like the Dewaele brothers, but the surprise element and the icing on the cake is a big fuck off synth riff, that throws caution to the wind and will recharge anybody’s glow stick. Jester gives ‘British Mode’ a teeth grinding techno makeover, and bonus cut ‘Masters On Top’ sees these young Belgian upstarts in frazzled morning after mode. Goose are part of the new rock’n’rave, florescent guitars anyone.
