Ital Tek stirs further interest in his upcoming second album, Midnight Colour [for Planet Mu] by dropping his strides and revealing two robust dubstepping coconuts on his own Atom River imprint. ‘Spectrum Falls’ [which will appear on Fabric53] uses effective steel drum sounds in a slo-mo maelstrom of alien synth motifs, underpinned with luminous hippo-scrotum bass. ‘Giga’ pulses at high altitude with granite 2-step beat and much dub trickery over the omnipresent bass, now swollen to blue whale testicle dimensions.
