An air of Morrissey – admittedly a borderline one which you either get or you don’t – takes over vocalist Oli Bayston as he leads his average Joe-christened charges through confident guitar exchanges without holding fire. ‘Mona Lisa’s Child’ provides the crop’s cream, an arm-linking jam with a damn good piano solo, with ‘Bled A Rose’ skipping barefoot through the flowers.
