What a year 2006 has been for the Klaxons, taking the festival & gig circuit by storm and releasing a couple of damn good singles. So on to 2007 which looks even brighter for the band, their eagerly awaited debut album ‘Myths Of The Near Future’ is due on January 29th, but first is the teaser single ‘Golden Skans’, which is well & truly outstanding, and will come as a bit of a surprise to those who thought Klaxsons were all rave’n’roll. ‘Golden Skans’ is a soaring pop song infused with driving melodies and sweeping harmonies, that has got a certain Hard Fi feel about it, only its better, and its gonna win them over a whole new army of fans. Klaxons will be taking the headline slots in summer 2007.
