KLAXONS
MAGICK
POLYDOR

It was only a matter of a very short time before one of the majors snapped up the Klaxons, so here it is, their debut release for Polydor Records. ‘Magick’ is thrashy and trashy moshpit madness, coming over a bit like a fully charged Wire going head to head with Bloc Party, but without the military stop start precision. ‘Magick’ comes backed with a Simian Mobile Disco remix, which sees producer James Ford strip the song back and wheel out the drum machine and synths, building a fat slab of warped electro pogo disco. The Klaxons are currently causing a bit of a furor up and down the country on a headlining tour, if you get the chance – It’s the new breed.
