Whilst the obvious answer might be ‘cause it’s dark out, will hold off on the sarcastic comments and get to the crux of the matter. An odd choice for a single from their wonderfully eclectic ‘Boogie Angst’ opus – in its original form this is a chilled mind-enveloping journey into never-never land with equally eerie vocals – it’s now transformed into a clubbing essential thanks to some stunningly apt remixes. Tom Belton continues to show why he’s constantly attracting big name projects with a funky driving house mix, while Henrik Schwarz’s deeper dalliance with dance will fuel the über trendy clubbing circuit in the coming months. But it’s the group’s own Noogman remix reinforced with funky guitar licks that’s my winner.
