Nothing quite gets the anticipation stirring like the news of a new Massive Attack record on it’s way. Well it’s been three years since their last single, & this time round Bristol’s finest have brought in the legendary Terry Callier. ‘Live With Me’ is typical Massive Attack in the fact it’s got melancholic strings & pads, beautifully constructed & produced to perfection, soaring over deep rhythms, creating a warm but lonely atmosphere, while Terry Callier delivers a soulful vocal to die for. ‘Live With Me’ is rightfully going to be included on the forthcoming ‘Collected’ (best of) Album & DVD, quite simply a must have for anyone with the slightest inkling of taste. Massive Attack’s new studio album ‘Weather Underground’ is due in February 2007, & if ‘Live With Me’ is anything to go by, it’s a return to form & then some.
