Confusingly titled new single from Brighton five piece Maths Class. ‘Nerves’ leads the A side, a psychedelic leaning stomper, veering excitedly from one tempo / style to another, slicing guitars and syrupy drums pushing the whole thing crazily forward, Jonny Greenwood’s shouted lyrics the only light in a dark whorl of sound. ‘Jonny Got The Jawline’ starts out energetically with loud drums and awkward guitar lines, then loses it’s way amongst too many ideas going off at the same time.
