Strung out Texan rockers The Black Angels line up another corker for a single from their drugged up influenced album ‘Passover’. ‘Well I feel so low’ slurs Christian Bland on the intro to ‘Better Off Alone’, then in comes the pounding toms and bluesy guitars along with a twisted mouth organ, swirling it’s way around tales of whiskey and women. If you can imagine Jim Morrison fronting The Duke Spirit, then you’re on track.
