Radar have got a fair amount of swagger on the go here, as ‘5th Columnist’ bowls on a skanking breaks groove, picking up elements of The Specials, Gorillaz and The Infadels along the way, with it’s we don’t suffer fools lyrics, riding on simple melodies with harmonies, and plenty of who gives a fuck attitude. Radar have got a rare factor about them, they sound like a gang you want to be part of. Their debut album is due next year, watch this space.
