The Norwegian duo make a splendid return, like a couple of wibbly wobbling animated men strutting down a street that’s bursting with sunshine psychedelics. “Happy Up Here” is full of feel good hooks and the sing a long soft vocal line “You know I really like it, you know I’ll always be here”, and it’s set to give Royksopp a huge hit with plenty of scope for the advertisers and TV programmers. Ker-ching. However on the remix front, and in total contrast to the original, Boyz Noize deliver a brain rattling filthy electro 104bpm 4/4 stomper, as various levels of machine gun acid fire off in all directions with driller killer effects that leave you confused, exhausted and generally in a state of shock, making Royksopp up for Yin & Yan single of the year.
