Benjamin Darvill aka Son Of Dave (great name) looks like heâs gonna be having it right off, after winning over the masses at Glastonbury, The Big Chill & Bestival this year, he’s also been asked to perform at The Best Of In The City & to support Supergrass on their UK tour, not bad at all eh! His second single “Devil Take My Soulä comes over like a stoned Alabama 3 having a Balearic moment with a top Harmonica player, & features the sultry Martina Topley Bird, riding a warm bluesy breeze on a beautiful summer’s day. The Remarkables supply the remix, creating a stop start funky shuffle with cute key riffs. This could go all the way.
