“An Honest Mistake” is the first “proper” single release from The Bravery. It comes bounding in on synth riffs & a 4/4 kick, then developes into a full blown disco pogo punk funk song. Big hair immediately comes to mind, as does Franz Ferdinand, OMD & Blancmange. France’s Ettiene De Crecy delivers a Superdiscount mix on the flip, adding house percussion & shooting fuzzy electrics through the vocal & arrangement. The Bravery are due on Top Of The Pops very soon.
