Kevin Martin has been experimenting with electronics and ragga for a few years now, along the way picking up admiration from people like Andy Weatherall. Kid 606 & Adrian Sherwood, and its easy to see why – as The Bug, Martins sound has more sub-flow and attitude than most toying with ragga, almost evolving away from bashment into true speaker worrying basement jams. Here he teams up with Ras B for four heavyweight cuts that revel in twisted rhythms and bass contortions (the two versions showcasing The Bugs style best). Not for lightweights.
