‘Nothing’ sees The Egg taking a turn into the direction of slightly psychedelic indie pop, and they’ve done a sterling job. ‘Nothing’ has got elements of Ride and I Monster, weaved into a swirling sing a long that’s a tad melancholic with a New Order twist. Over on the flip you’ll find the rockier title cut from the album ‘Forwards’, packed with thrashy drums and layers of stadium riffage.
