The Longcut are a Manchester three piece, that have managed to get that early Factory Records sound, especially in the Joy Division department. “A Quiet Life” has got all the trademarks of a post punk 12”, electronic beats, shoe gazing bass, scratchy guitars & desperate vocals, all fighting for space under a mass of backcombed hair & smudged eyeliner. The Longcut are already building a rather large fan base, gawd knows how big theyll be after this summers festivals.
