A real head turner for Tunng, and apparently pointing at the direction the new album has taken, too. Kicking off with a real C&W twang, it soon settles into a sing-along pop song that’ll have those who labelled them as ‘nu-folk’ scrabbling for their classification dictionaries. It’s still got the slight whiff of whimsy, certainly, with daydream quality lyrics, but musically, this is Tunng wanting to show-off their best feelgood dance moves for all to see, as it shifts up through various gears and has you humming along after one single listen. A sheer delight.
