‘Now Til ’69’ is the second single to be lifted from The Shortwave Set’s highly acclaimed, Danger Mouse produced second album ‘Replica Sun Machine’. Bursting in with pop sensibilities and swirling psychedelics, ‘Now Til ’69’ unfolds into hooky vocal melodies and catchy choruses that Abba would be proud of. Mirwais is first up at the mixing desk, adding a punchy groove on his remix, as well as delivering a futuristic electronic club mix. Aeroplane round off the package nicely with an outstanding orchestrated housey come Balearic number, that’s got a bit of a Flaming Lips meet X-Press2 feel about it. It’s a winner.
