The buzz about this Canadian outfit is huge and it’s definitely a case of do believe the hype. Thunderheist recently blazed a trail across Europe leaving everyone that crossed their path totally gobsmacked. After the excellent Missy flavoured and then some “Jerk It”, Thunderheist are set to unleash their first full release for Big Dada in the shape of “Sweet 16”, with it’s The Clash conquer New York clubs from back in the day vibe, and risqué lyrics concerning the joys of being on a heady dancefloor whilst being barely legal. “Dirty talk, dirty dance, dirty walk…bend her over dirty ohhh!”. Set to an earthy post punk disco groove with spot on guitar licks that Strummer/Jones would be proud of. The Danceteria revival on pirate satellite starts here.
