You know it’s a great song when you’re surprised at the brevity of it. “Uh” is an oh-so-addictive pop number that’s all about simplicity, a low-slung groove that makes you want to pick up a hairbrush, stand in front of the mirror and shake it like Prince. And it’s just under three minutes long. “One Trick Pony” continues the electronically refined groovesomeness albeit at a faster pace, with odd whispered voices and swathes of synths. Fujiya & Miyagi’s bid for world domination is long overdue – let’s hope it starts here.
