It’s still distinctly new-folk and full of whimsy, however, Tunng’s latest, “It’s Because…. We’ve Got Hair” is a different strand of music to their usually dark hued folk-pop. It’s a light and upbeat ditty celebrating the notion of community under layers of sunny harmonies and a distinctly casual air. Beguiling as ever, it’ll have you out of your winter coat and into a nice welcoming, comfy armchair before you can say, ‘mmmm, lovely’.
