A three-track sampler for a forthcoming Finnish music compilation, Present Sense kicks things off, who’s had releases on Italy’s Archive label, here teaming up with Tuomo for “Nature Girl” – a strong mix of buzzing keys and soft melodies combined with a killer rhythm section. Katriina’s “Spared Your Kiss” is pitched in a perfect neo-soul vibe, showcasing a nicely written song to a bumping bass and low-down drums. J-City finish the EP off with a lustrous disco / jazz hybrid called “All You Give”, not unlike some lost Nuphonice groove with it’s building chords and live feel. All three cuts are exclusive to this release.
