London’s five-piece Xerox Teens pretend they’re ‘punk’ but as this third single testifies, there’s far more to this lot than a few knackered Stooges riffs. To start with sexy singer Rich Cash sounds like an inspired Adam Ant (circa ‘Dirk Wears White Sox’ of course), add to that a keyboard player that has no qualms about throwing steel drums and Pigbag horns in the pot and you end up with a pretty unique act worth paying attention to.
