An infectious guitar riff and bassline raise the temperature on a record that has a certain Blur ‘Song 2’ feel to it – you almost spontaneously wanna cry “whoo hoo” instead of the “sha la la la” chorus. Infectious beyond belief, this offering from the artist who previous delivered more soulful house releases like ‘Holding On’ marks a stark change in direction, but one that is sure to pay dividends.
