The Brick Lane massive get their Miami tackle in order with a brace of tracks apiece on this disco delight that’ll get any party started right. In the blue corner the Disco Darlings team-up with songstress Yvonne John-Lewis for the poppy ‘Summer Sun’ (basically Sister Sledge’s ‘Thinking Of You’ with new lyrics) and the funker bass-riding ‘Light Up My Love’. While in the red corner, those cheeky manipulators and plagiarists, the Hoxton Whores, are paired with Rob Tissera on a dubbed out acid attack of Joe Smooth’s ‘Promise Land’, and Jon Carter and Gary Gecko for the percussive head fucker, ‘Double Drop’. Top tackle.
