Glasgow’s finest Franz Ferdinand release the brilliant jump up & woozy ‘Outsiders’, lifted from their excellent second album ‘You Could Have It So Much Better’. ‘Outsiders’ comes with an array of remixes, Ewan Pearson gets the electro currents flowing with warm pads and subtle pulses, leading to old school key riffs, which give off a late 70’s X rated New York soundtrack feel. Fellow Scotsman JD Twitch of Optimo fame takes Franz Ferdinand on a complementary Georgio Moroder disco route, ending up in a spaghetti western ghost town. Last but not least Isolee provides some warm shuffling house action, leading to a showdown of twisting synth builds & atmospherics. Yet another bumper package from Domino.
