PRESSURE DROP FEAT. BOB MARLEY
REDEMPTION SONG
AUDIO FREAKS

That’s not a typo, it really is Bob Marley, and I’m pretty sure the sample’s been cleared and approved. This could do for ‘Redemption Song’ what Eric Prydz did Steve Winwood’s ‘Valerie’ and United Nations to Hall & Oates ‘Out Of Touch’. It’s a tried-and-tested formula, which in Pressure Drop’s Original mixes uses ‘Call On Me’ as its blueprint. But it’s the more rounded Mystery & Matt Early Miami Beach mix that will gain most rotation with its far funkier Stonebridge-esque song-based version. If it’s legit Pressure Drop could be this year’s Funkstar De Luxe, and in so doing place ‘Redemption Songs’ in the chart for the first time ever.
