Jeremy Sylvester’s one of the hardest working men in UK dance recording under a plethora of aliases including Electronica, Class A and currently as Mel Day with the James Brown-influenced ‘Get Ready’. But for the ‘80s he returns to his Pure Orange guise for this smouldering remake of Duran Duran’s number 2 UK smash from 1982. Vocally and musically this adheres to the original’s tried-and-tested formula, although Simon Le Bon need not worry just yet; the dub likely to garner the majority of the club mileage.
