Start It Up (White Trash Kids On Crank Mix)
White

The Stones recently set a new record with the highest grossing tour in rock history; little wonder as they’ve been on the road since 1857! The hardest working grandparents in history show no sign of letting up; neither does the dance community’s fascination with their music. The Stones revival marches on with this cheeky, yet fairly straight-up 4/4 treatment of their biggest chart hit of the ’80s. By using subtle, rather than out-and-out in-ya-face beats to enhancing what is already there, the White Trash Kids On Crank have done their best not to alienate the group’s fan base, and let’s face it, they’re old enough to have a turntable (probably one that plays 78s!) and if their anything left from their pension allowance, they still buy the odd bit of vinyl too. Incidentally Mick Jagger’s previously unreleased ‘Charmed Life’, from the same era, has been lovingly remixed by Solitaire, Ford and Koishii & Hush and will be on Rhino promos any day now. Rock on kids.
