Whilst Roxy Music are currently reunited in the studio with original member extraordinaire Brian Eno (brand new album on the way), EMI keeps on commissioning remixes that range from hazardous (what’s the band to gain from a minimal re-rub?) to truly wonderful – Glimmers on ‘Same Old Scene’ did wonders. Here Headman comes close with a stylish rendition of the very glam ‘Virginia Plain’ (also Phones re-rub of ‘Editions Of You’). All these plus a new rework of ‘Avalon’ by Lindstrom will be made available as download only tracks later this year.
