As some of you may know, iconic imprint Poker Flat, run by the ever active Steve Bug has recently turned 20 years. Because of this, the head honcho has hired a bunch of AAA artists to remix their back catalogue to bring back classics or sought after underground tracks a second time. One of these tracks, that will be out shortly, is the amazingly reconstructed ‘1000 Miles’ by Martin Landsky. What you get is an anthem in the making-pounding rhythms, soaring synths and magnificent drums create a very special, uplifting atmosphere. The mix is weaving between House Music and more techy territories, and that’s exactly what makes it so special.
Hopefully gems like this will be dropped on actual dancefloors soon, it’s quite a petty we only can listen to it at home for the moment!
