Currently hailed as the ‘sweet heart’ of the UK Soul scene, London songbird, S.E.L releases new DJ Spen remixes of her UK Soul chart #1 hit, ‘Melodic Harmony’ on Quantize Recordings, taken from her current debut album release ‘Loc’d In Consciousness’. Playlisted on Mi-Soul.com in its original soul version, ‘Melodic Harmony’ long time collaborators DJ Spen and Michele Chiavarini, infuse the song with their signature uplifting style across both the new mixes, with a funky guitar-fuelled Dub toughened up for the dance floor. S.E.L is becoming known for her energising performances alongside her star-studded live band, with her sultry enticing almost hypnotising vocals backed by some truly amazing songwriting talents and down-to-earth demeanour.
International Producer/DJ & label head, DJ Spen is one of the cornerstone’s of the modern soulful house scene with his recent solo album ’Soulful Storm’ a testament to his unique style and longevity released on his Quantise label. Spen has worked with most of the leading lights of the house music scene since he first struck out with the Basement Boys in the 90’s. Michele Chiavarini, was the main producer on S.E.L’s debut album ‘Loc’d In Consciousness’ and is also known for his extensive collabs with DJ Spen.
