Under his various guises including VΛNITY CRIME, Houseswingers and Di Saronno, he has remixed heavyweights such as Depeche Mode, Moby, Röyksopp, Basement Jaxx, Kerri Chandler, Todd Terry, Danny Tenaglia and Bob Sinclar, among many others. To me this track is a sort of throw back to the pure classic MURK productions. It comes with a driving baseline on top of a straight dirty raw house drum groove. It’s always spiritually uplifting and deeply sexy. I can play this record today as well as 20 years from now! It has recently been exclusively reworked by myself for blanc.

Another successful reconstruction from the vaults of World’s African Treasures. This comes with an inspirational energy and outstanding music production and a sincere heartfelt love for mankind.

Noferini & DJ Guy ft. Hilary – Pra Sonhar (Marascia Mix) – Loud Bit

Smooth infectious sambadrome grooves blended effortlessly with an impeccable saxophone melody and a sublime vocal performance by Hilary Costa. Marascia brings his professional production skills to a higher level during on the intro and outro samba solos. A great house record that sets the right mood for a Carnival party.

Latin Project – Lei lo Lai (MAW Mixes) – Electric Monkey

Historical MAW’s Grammy nominee tune, battle horse for the latin- house movement, hypnotic vibes and a great vocal performance and lyrics. I’ve been listening to this production for a while now, picturing myself across the ocean, feeling the salty breeze and the bright blues skies defining the horizon. A combination that gives me the sensation of escaping to the freedom.

Francesco Ferraro – Canto De Medellin – Natura Viva

This work represents the gap between my past and present. My main goal was to delight the entire season, at the same time itʼs very surprising and refreshing because of the use of popular Colombian music vocals mixed with Cumbia elements and Latin rhythms. A worthy reinterpretation with a unique, groovy and characteristic style.

Phunk Investigation feat. Boy George – Generation Of Love (The Scumfrog Mix) – Miniatures

A solid deep tech track topped up with ‘fisarmonica’ vibes. It’s an interesting blend of hypnotic and psychedelic sounds, the kind of track I could play to close a set, keeping the crowd wanting to never leave. A majestic performance, Boy George at his best!

Joeski – El Santo – Maya Recordings

Energetic instrumentation and quality audio sonics here. I love the reversed principle to let the bassline drop initially, and how the groove elements build the track every 8 bars. This release is another example of music with purpose, prayers with spiritual meanings and social impact!

The challenge I encountered to transform a classic piano house track into an irresistible Latin percussion flavoured tech house jam for the terrace!
