His name is actually Dan Jeffries, who follows ‘Return of The Misfits’ on the happening Aux label with another darkly-fervent dose of stripped-down tech-house. The title cut constructs a web of deep pads and stabs bathed in other-worldly textures and speech snippets, before ‘In The Flesh’ gets weightier with a springy pulser complete with wanking guinea-pig action. Bristol’s Robosapiens remix the former with trouser-friendly burp-tech elements before London’s Dax J heads into classic techno realms with Plastikman percussive death rattles.
