A second electronic dollop of delight from Berlin’s superlative Vakant label, showing a healthy swapsy situation afoot as Alex Smoke and Tolga Fidan take each other’s respective tunes and squirt new tricks out of their mighty udders. First Tolga gets hold of Alex’s ‘Neds’ [missus] with amazing consequences as an oddball grab-bag of sonic embellishments come and go over a subterranean jungle-funk prowl. This feeling of mesmerising propulsion is continued as Alex gouges a salivating, panting chase through the radioactive swamp from Tolga’s ‘Ilsa’. All abandoned ruins on Mars and Clint’s Man With No Name using his bell-end as a lightning rod. Vakant’s remix excursions have already established a maxim of using the dancefloor for their scientist’s experiments. A deadly formula has already been established.
