VARIOUS ARTISTS ‘Blair French Edits’ (RAZOR N TAPE)

We all know of the quality of Aaron Dae and Jkriv’s Razor N Tape label is able to offer and despite being one of the first imprints that always had an eye or two on the vinyl market when growths and sales weren’t what they are today, the label has always stood for a funky sound that was and is trademark. Beside the countless originals that have surfaced on the label over the years, many of the big guns have also released Disco edits on Razor N Tape. Many of them are hard to find today, some have been repressed due of high demand.

Latest guy to join forces on this front is Blair French, who’s not only a record collector and music producer, but also a film composer. On the EP we catch summery vibes via Brazilian boogie burner ‘Cut The Crust’, step to the funk of ‘Surrender’,get the ultimate late 79 experience with the up-tempo instrumental disco vibes of ‘All Is Welcome’, and end withthe highly explosive and percussive cut that is ‘Excuse Me’. This EP is not only a must have for any vinyl lover, it’s an essential piece of Disco for everyone into that kind of music.
