Like a juggernaut coming out of nowhere, Liverpool’s dance music stalwart Yousef celebrates 15 years of his infectious party brand Circus by calling in the favours from the biggest names on the scene. With 15 exclusive tracks on show from the likes of Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Sasha, Hot Since 82, Darius Syrossian and Joris Voorn (to name but a few), the calibre of music present is naturally very high. All bases are covered from the smooth deep disco vibes of Kerri Chandler’s ‘Intro’ to the techno slammer ‘Dark Alleys’ from Coxy. My own personal highlight is the explosive acid beast from Bontan ‘You Don’t Know’, now it’s up to you to decide which is yours. One of the biggest albums of the year surely?
