Germany’s iconic Milk & Sugar continues his successful run of dance floor bangers with another summer anthem, this time collaborating with fellow German DJ Sven Kerkhoff for their new single “Somebody”, out now via Milk & Sugar Recordings. 

Working together for the first time Milk & Sugar and Sven Kerkhoff deliver a modern house cut, featuring a powerful groove and a hypnotic vocal sample “Move Your Body, Everybody Wants To Be Somebody” – it’s another slice of infectious house fun from the long time hitmaker. 

Michael (aka Milk & Sugar): “I’ve known Sven for years and played at loads of his events, especially with his residency in the Area of Münster. He’s been waving the house flag high in Germany for so long it made sense to finally collaborate. It was a pleasure doing Somebody with him and we can’t wait for you to hear it on the dancefloor.” 

 

Milk & Sugar, Jens Lissat – Can U Hear Me? (Extended Mix)

My collab track with old school techno legend Jens Lissat, we sampled disco diva legend Loleatta Holloway. I am super happy getting this record released now. It took me nearly two years to clear the sample of Loleatta.This is proving to be a great year for me, with some very special releases and ‘Can U Hear Me?’ marked the perfect start to summer.

Chris Lake – Beggin’ (Extended Mix)

Once in a while you hear a record which is never leaving your mind. The energy was catching me straight away and since then it’s on heavy rotation in my sets.

Raven Maize – The Real Life (David Penn Extended Remix)

I heard this track at my New Years Eve tour in Brazil, when David Penn played it @Green Valley. I always liked the classic back in the days, but this new remix is bringing the track on a new level.

Walker & Royce – Stop Time (Original Mix)

Probably my favourite track at the moment. It is very raw and brutal on one hand and on the other hand there is this goosebumps feeling in it. The intro and the break of the track are so emotional and the drop is just killing it.

Marco Lys – Fourth Dimension (Extended Mix)

I like the new Marco Lys release a lot, as it starts very deep and stripped down and then it turns into a proper classic piano house record.

Star B – Fire (The DJ Dub)

I am becoming more and more a fan of Star B (Mark Broom and Riva Star´s) releases, as you pretty much can buy the tracks without listening. This one delivers a great club feeling and it is great to play out.

 

Diplo – Express Yourself (Mochakk Remix)

This is one reminds me a bit of a 90’s trance track and my rave roots. It definitely stands out of the mass of releases every week.

CASSIMM – All Right (Extended)

The new Cassimm track is a solid club tool, which is played by me in nearly every set and it always does the business.

I did a collab with German DJ and promoter Sven Kerkhoff and I am super happy with the result. This one is a real club belter.

 

KC Lights – Better Times (Extended Mix)

I wanted to have at least one fun & sunshine house track in my list. Great summer vibes and huge on the dance floors.
