“An overwhelmingly succesful night took place in New York celebrating the life of one of our dearly missed friends from the world of music. The night was all about partyrockin’ sets with a bit of turntablism thrown in for good measure. DJ Eclipse (Fat Beats) took to the decks before the X-Ecutioners each rocked including DJ Total Eclipse, DJ Rob Swift and DJ Boogie Blind. Stretch Armstrong went next followed by A-Trak (my favorite most eclectic set of the night) then DJ Premier and DJ Craze closed it out with everything from Dancehall to the Mary Jane Girls (my other favorite set of the night!). Seen in the crowd: Raida’s wife Tyeasha, their three beautitul daughters and friend Jodi, DJ Shiftee, Mista Sinista, Precision, Fatfingaz, Busta Rhymes, Lord Finesse, DJ A.Vee, DJ Neil Armstrong, Roli Rho, Raida’s best friend Rich, Jenny Blaze, Marilyn, Esquire, Marcus and way too many more to name!
