London’s production duo Beat Rivals (aka John & Kevin) have had a plethora of success since they first joined forces on their first release ‘Why Do I’ featuring Flexio Muiso in 2011. Since then, the pair have gone on to work with some of the finest vocalists and musicians in the scene including Angie Brown, Hannah Khemoh, Jocelyn Brown, Julie McKnight, Lifford, Natasha Watts, Tasha LaRae, Vanessa Freeman, Kathy Brown, Michele Chiavarini, Mike Patto and Ernie McKone, to name a few. As well as featuring on other labels, their own label Rival Beat Records, now in its 15th year, has become a widely respected imprint on the global soulful house scene and has featured artists such as Opolopo, Sean McCabe and DJ Spen as well as the Beat Rivals own output. As their new collaboration with Andre Espeut, ‘Feels So Right’ lands on Rival Beat Records, DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Beat Rivals.
