Trainspotting – Tony Barbato

The big tunes from the big players…

tonybpicTony Barbato first started Djing in and around Italy in the late 90’s. In 2001 he landed at the console of the Tartana Club (one of the most important house clubs in the country) for ‘Souvenir de Ibiza’ where he made a huge impression, gaining a residency for the next season. Tony is known for the incredible energy he irradiates from behind the decks during his sets, delivering big deep house sounds with a Latin twist.

1) Dan Ghenacia & Shonky – Close To The Edge
(Original Mix) (Apollonia)

One of my favourite pieces.

2) Jay Shepheard, Catz ‘N Dogz- Add Arp
(Catz ‘N Dogz Remix) (Retrofit)

It will be one of this Summers ‘things’!

3) Re You – Junction
(Mobilee Records)

Very easy on the ears and has a massive effect on any dancefloor

4) Grant Nelson pres Departure Lounge
‘Time Ties Not the Same’ (Freeze Dried)

Really well-produced tasty music that works at home just as well as on the dancefloor

5) Aki Bergen – Deluxe
(Aki Bergen) (Natura Viva)

Captivating, deep and not at all obvious… Let it spin and the music will do the rest!

6) Rocco – Tumbadora
(Copyright Recordings)

This is a real killer on any dancefloor!

7) Paolo Rocco – That I Am (POINT G Dub Remix)
One of my favourite songs and usually ‘comes up’ at least two times in my set.

8) Tony Barbato – Walkin On Music

It is almost as if this doesn’t need reviewing, it is so fundamental! Fun-da-men-tal!!!

9) Franco De Mulero & Hector Romero – I Found You

Modern house music. I like it!

10) Colin Sales and S.U.Z.Y – Perseverance
(Clappy DubBeep Remix) (CDS Recording)

Simple and effective.
