Current busy boys of the breaks scene release one of their best tracks to date. That would be this one then? Yes, that’s right. I’ll try and resist describing anything with the adjective ‘unbelievable’. OK so this is really crisp and chunky breaks with an undeniable funk. The live bass sits perfectly and moves around just enough to keep your arse bouncing around the room. Some choice bouncy pipe business really punctuates the track in the breakdown and it kicks back in with excellent energy. There’s some little funky guitar riffs as well; good. Sometimes feels like a breaks re-work of ‘Pappa was a Rolling Stone’. Kind of. Anyway it’s really good and we think you should get one.
